Processing time
Orders are prepared and handed to the carrier within 24 working hours of payment being confirmed. This may take longer during busy periods — sales, collection launches and the end-of-year season.
Pre-orders
When an item is available for pre-order, the expected dispatch date is shown on its product page. If an order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, it ships in one parcel, on the later date.
Carriers and tracking
We ship with UPS and DHL. As soon as your order leaves us, you receive an email with a tracking number; you can also follow your parcel at any time from the Track my order page.
Lost, delayed or damaged parcels
We remain your point of contact until the parcel reaches you. If your order does not arrive within the stated time, or arrives damaged, write to us at hello@ava-be.com: we open an investigation with the carrier and, depending on the outcome, either reship your order or refund you.
For a damaged parcel, keep the packaging and send us photographs — they are essential to the claim with the carrier.
Uncollected parcels
When a parcel is held at a pick-up point or post office, it must be collected within the period stated by the carrier. After that, it is automatically returned to us. We then contact you to arrange reshipment, at your cost, or to refund the value of the products less the original delivery charges.
Delivery address
Please check your address before confirming your order. An incomplete or incorrect address can cause delays, failed delivery or a return to sender, with reshipment costs payable by you. If you spot a mistake, write to us immediately — we can sometimes act before the parcel is handed to the carrier.
Customs duties and taxes
For the European Union and the United States, customs duties and import taxes are included in the price shown: nothing further will be charged on delivery.
For all other destinations, duties, taxes or clearance fees may be charged by your local authorities. These remain payable by you and are outside our control. Refusing to pay them results in the parcel being returned, which is then handled as an uncollected parcel.
